Paul Miller, CEO of Gavurin, talks to us about the importance of checking the privacy policies and governance of those that you do business with. Over the years we’ve seen an emergence of giant corporations monopolising certain parts of the internet. As a result of this they have become the target of malicious attacks, putting a great deal of customer data at risk. Could the development of alternative smaller competitors be the answer?
We also discuss the usefulness of visualisation in data and the fine line that is tread between being useful and easy to understand, and being just pretty to look at. Perhaps a lot may be attributed to which data is input in the first place. Listen to the podcast to hear Paul’s thoughts on the matter.
